BEADLOCK RINGS INSTALLATION GUIDE
Transform your RR6-H or RR7-H hybrid wheels into fully functional beadlock wheels. With these rings, you can confidently run tires aired down to 5 PSI for increased traction and a smoother ride on technical trails—without worrying about debeading.
DISCLAIMER:
Beadlock rings are for OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. They are NOT STREET LEGAL.
INSTALLATION:
While many customers install beadlock rings themselves, we strongly recommend professional installation for best results.
HELPFUL TIPS:
- To avoid stripping threads, start installation with a few longer bolts (not included). These ensure full thread engagement before compressing the tire bead.
- Once the bead is seated, switch to the provided bolts (M8x1.25x30mm) and washers, which will now engage the threads fully before torqueing.
- Use caution—your wheels are aluminum, so handle threads with care.
- Apply soapy water or tire lubricant paste to help seat the tire bead smoothly as the beadlock ring is compressed.
TORQUE SPECS:
- Apply a dab of anti-seize lubricant to each bolt thread.
- Using a ¼" or ⅜" torque wrench, tighten bolts evenly in a star pattern to 7 ft-lbs.
- Then set your torque wrench to 14 ft-lbs and torque again in a star pattern to 14 ft-lbs.
- Do NOT overtighten.
Note: We are developing a DOT-approved beadlock wheel. No official timeline is available yet.
