After two years of rigorous field testing and customer feedback, Taruca has implemented a host of thoughtful upgrades across its awning lineup. As part of the Rogue Series, the 8ft Awning features a thicker, powder-coated aluminum frame and reinforced hinge support system, offering a fully free-standing experience built to withstand real-world use.

Taruca includes smart accessories like quick-release guy lines and screw-in stakes for extra stability during extended setups. The arms are more robust and intuitive to deploy and stow.

A key innovation is integrated LED lighting built into the frame. Each arm includes a touch sensor to toggle between Amber, White, or Natural light—fully dimmable for personalized camp lighting, with cleanly integrated wiring for a sleek, seamless finish.

In the event of adverse weather, we always recommend to have it properly staked down, poles down, and use of the rain tie down points to create a gutter like effect. The use of walls or full enclosures can be used for additional protection.
