Material Construction
Domed finishes have a raised 4 mm profile and three-layer construction: UV doming resin for a high-gloss, scratch-resistant surface; a decorative substrate providing the selected finish; and 3M automotive-grade adhesive backing. Substrate choices include real carbon fiber, chrome, camouflage and factory color matches.
Real Carbon Fiber (Raw) has a raised profile of 1 mm.
Installation
Check the selected accent piece against its corresponding rear hitch area before applying the adhesive-backed overlay. The receiver-area overlay fits on the frame underneath the plastic hitch cover. Surface preparation and installation can be completed in approximately 10 minutes.
