Material Construction
The domed finish is raised 4 mm and uses a three-layer construction: UV doming resin for a high-gloss, scratch-resistant finish; a decorative substrate providing the selected color or pattern; and 3M automotive-grade adhesive backing. Substrate options include real carbon fiber, chrome, camouflage and factory color matches.
Real Carbon Fiber (Raw) has a raised profile of 1 mm.
Installation
Align the center overlay on the grayish surround above the raised silver trim around the center A/C vents. Position the other two overlays on the outer dash areas, one on each side. Check alignment before applying the adhesive-backed pieces. Surface preparation and installation can be completed in approximately 10 minutes.
