Material Construction
The domed product line uses a three-layer construction: UV doming resin for a high-gloss, scratch-resistant finish; a decorative substrate with options such as 100% real carbon fiber, chrome, camouflage and factory color matches; and 3M automotive-grade adhesive backing.
The Real Carbon Fiber (Raw) option is raised 1 mm rather than the standard 4 mm domed profile.
Installation
The overlays fit onto the surrounding trim of the rear liftgate window buttons. Surface preparation and installation can be completed in approximately 5 minutes. Check the placement of each piece before applying the adhesive-backed trim.
