The factory intake system has to balance performance with noise, packaging, and other OEM requirements. The SXTH CPLT Intake is engineered with airflow and performance in mind.

The system utilizes an unused opening in the Land Cruiser's fender cavity to pull in fresh, cooler outside air. That additional airflow is paired with a larger airbox, high-flow dry air filter, and smoother intake tubing to create a less restrictive path to the engine.

The result is a 12–17% increase in airflow compared to the OEM intake system.

Just as importantly, the intake tube is properly sized around the factory MAF sensor. This allows the system to increase airflow while maintaining proper MAF readings, meaning no aftermarket tuning is required and no check engine lights.

Based on SXTH's Proven Tacoma Intake

While this Land Cruiser intake has not yet been independently dyno tested on the Land Cruiser platform, its design is based on SXTH's proven Tacoma CPLT Intake.

On the Tacoma application, the design produced gains of up to 14 horsepower and 14 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.

Actual Land Cruiser gains may vary, but the increased airflow and reduced restriction are designed to provide improved throttle response and stronger performance whether you're commuting, towing, exploring trails, or heading off-road.

Fresh, Cooler Air From the Fender

Rather than relying solely on hot engine-bay air, the CPLT Intake takes advantage of an unused opening in the Land Cruiser's fender cavity.

This gives the intake access to a fresh source of cooler outside air while the larger enclosed airbox helps isolate the filter from surrounding engine-bay heat.

Combined with the high-flow dry filter and smoother intake tube, the complete system provides your turbocharged engine with a cleaner, less restrictive path for incoming air.
