SXTH Element CPLT Intake for 2010–2024 Toyota 4Runner 4.0L V6

A large dry-flow filter, platform-specific Helmholtz resonator and magnetic airbox lid combine increased airflow with a stronger intake tone and straightforward maintenance. This bolt-on system requires no tuning.

Dyno-Tested Performance

The supplied Dynojet comparison recorded 226.89 wheel horsepower with the CPLT Intake versus 216.31 with the OEM intake, a 10.58 peak wheel horsepower increase. Recorded peak wheel torque rose from 241.61 to 251.29 lb-ft, a difference of 9.68 lb-ft between peaks.

Results reflect the tested vehicle and conditions. The graph focuses on the upper RPM range, excluding initial throttle roll-in affected by automatic-transmission kickdown behavior.

Purposeful Airflow, No Tune Required

The dry-flow filter's 6-inch inlet tapers to the factory MAF sensor diameter, supporting increased airflow while retaining compatibility with the stock ECU calibration and OEM drivability.

Published Filter Testing

The filter uses the technology covered in SXTH Element's published air filter testing. Laboratory testing following ISO 5011 / SAE J726 standards demonstrated up to 99.52% filtration efficiency at a test airflow of 300 m³/h. Review the Air Filter Efficiency Testing report for test details.

V6 Sound Without Unwanted Resonance

Enjoy a stronger intake tone when you get on the throttle without making everyday driving intrusive. The integrated Helmholtz resonator targets unwanted resonance, including the harsh pitch around 3,800–4,000 RPM under heavier throttle.

Magnetic Lid, Simple Maintenance

Lift the magnetic airbox lid to inspect or service the filter, then snap it back into place. The molded XLPE airbox and intake tube retain the OEM attachments and install without vehicle modifications, keeping installation and routine maintenance straightforward.
