Material Construction
Domed finishes are raised 4 mm and use a three-layer construction: UV doming resin for a glossy, scratch-resistant finish, the selected decorative substrate, and 3M automotive-grade adhesive backing. Real Carbon Fiber (Raw) is the exception, with a raised height of 1 mm.
Installation
Check the overlay's alignment on the middle stamped portion of the steering wheel around the logo before applying the adhesive backing. Surface preparation and installation can be completed in approximately 5 minutes.
