High-Speed Short Drum Winch for Space-Limited Builds

The Carbon Offroad Scout Pro RS9-S packages an 8.0HP 12V series-wound motor and 80:1 performance gearing into a compact short-drum chassis. Designed for appropriately matched race buggies, UTVs, ATVs, and specialized off-road builds, it prioritizes line speed where mounting space is limited.

This is the Winch Only listing. Its existing component specification lists the winch, 8mm x 24m (5/16-inch x 80ft) Spectra™ synthetic UHMWPE rope, MegaPro hook, fairlead, and wiring accessory kit. Confirm the package configuration before installation. Compatible with the optional Carbon Offroad Air Freespool Clutch Upgrade.

Installation and Safe Use

Confirm chassis clearance and bolt pattern rather than assuming vehicle-specific fitment. Use an appropriately rated mounting plate or cradle, compatible 12V electrical system, rated recovery points, and matched rigging. Follow manufacturer installation and operating instructions, including rope-layer limits, inspect before use, and keep people clear.
