Unlike typical injection-molded plastic storage boxes, the Backwoods Tundra Storage Box is constructed entirely from 1/8" aluminum with stainless steel mounting components, lockable latches, an adjustable interior shelf, and an exterior MOLLE panel. The result is a durable, purpose-built storage system designed to look and function like it belongs on your Tundra.

Premium Aluminum Construction

Your storage system should be built to handle the same conditions as the rest of your overland equipment.

The box is constructed from 1/8" aluminum, providing excellent durability while keeping overall weight manageable. Stainless steel mounts and black oxide stainless steel hardware add strength and corrosion resistance throughout the mounting system.

At approximately 38 lbs., the box provides substantial storage and protection without the excessive weight of a comparable steel enclosure.

Designed for the Backwoods Full Height Tundra Bed Rack

This isn't a universal storage box adapted to fit your truck.

The Overland Bed Rack Storage Box is specifically designed to mount to the Backwoods Full Height Bed Rack for Toyota Tundra.

The rack can accommodate up to two storage boxes per side, allowing you to build a highly organized cargo system while preserving the center of your truck bed for larger equipment, coolers, camping supplies, or additional cargo.

Important: A Backwoods Full Height Tundra Bed Rack is required for installation.

Exterior MOLLE Accessory Panel

The outside of the box features an integrated MOLLE panel, giving you additional mounting space for frequently used gear and accessories.

Use the exterior panel to mount compatible recovery equipment, tools, first-aid gear, pouches, or other MOLLE-compatible accessories without taking up space inside the box.

The MOLLE panel also comes pre-drilled for a RotopaX mount, making it easy to incorporate compatible fuel or water storage into your setup.

Adjustable Interior Shelf

Different trips require different gear.

The included interior shelf is fully adjustable, allowing you to configure the inside of the box around the equipment you're carrying. Create separate storage levels for tools, recovery gear, camping equipment, vehicle accessories, and other essentials.

The adjustable design helps prevent smaller equipment from becoming buried underneath larger items and makes better use of the box's available vertical space.

Gas-Strut Assisted Lid

The lid uses gas struts for smooth, convenient opening and easier access to your gear.

Two gas struts are included, allowing you to configure the opening assistance based on your setup.

If you're not carrying additional weight on the exterior MOLLE panel, a single gas strut can be used. When mounting a RotopaX container or another heavier accessory to the outside panel, both gas struts can be installed to provide additional support.

Lockable Push-Button Latches

Keep your equipment more secure with integrated lockable push-button latches.

The latch design provides quick access when you need your gear while giving you the ability to lock the box when your Tundra is parked or left unattended.

Helps Keep Out Dust & Water

A high-quality rubber gasket surrounds the opening to help keep dust and water outside where they belong.
