Upgrade the rear of your Sequoia with a smart blend of protection and recovery capability using this Rear Recovery Point with Hybrid Bumper. Designed for owners who want added durability without cutting or trimming, this hybrid solution delivers functional protection while retaining OEM safety components.

The hybrid bumper is TIG welded from ¼-inch high-strength steel and finished in a durable wrinkle black powder coat. The integrated recovery point is precision-machined from CNC billet steel, also finished in wrinkle black, and is designed to accept standard 3/4-inch D-rings or soft shackles for reliable off-road recovery.

This hybrid bumper replaces the factory plastic hitch cover and mounts directly to the trailer safety chain hook-up points. Unlike full replacement bumpers, it does not replace the OEM crash bar or bumper beam, making it ideal for mild to medium off-road use while preserving factory crash protection. “Hybrid” refers strictly to the bumper design—not the vehicle’s powertrain.

Installation & Usage

The Rear Recovery Point / Hybrid Bumper installs using factory mounting locations for a clean, bolt-on fit. All required mounting hardware is included, with the exception of the hitch pin, which is not included.
