Alternative trailer safety-chain anchors
These recovery points can also serve as alternative anchor points for trailer safety chains. Longer chains may be required.
Always cross the safety chains underneath the hitch and coupler, and leave enough slack for turning.
Mounting and installation
- Mount to the OEM rear tow hitch receiver mounting locations.
- All necessary mounting hardware is included.
- Torque all bolts to 146 ft-lbs / 198 Nm.
- Position can be adjusted by adding washers at each mounting point.
