Installation & Prep (Critical)

To ensure proper adhesion—especially on textured FJ plastics—follow these steps carefully:

• Do not install on ceramic-coated surfaces
• Do not use silicone-based cleaners (Armor All, etc.)
• Clean thoroughly with a degreaser followed by isopropyl alcohol
• Surface must be completely free of oils and shine
• If the panel still feels slick, it is not clean enough

Final step (mandatory):

• Post-heat all areas to 185°F to activate the adhesive bond

Pro tip: This step is critical to prevent peeling, especially in high-heat environments.

Professional installation is recommended if you’re not comfortable with heat-setting vinyl.
