Installation & Prep (Critical)

To ensure proper adhesion, follow these steps carefully:

• Do not install on ceramic-coated surfaces
• Do not use silicone-based cleaners (Armor All, etc.)
• Clean thoroughly with a degreaser followed by alcohol
• Surface must be completely free of oils and shine
• If the surface still looks shiny, it is not clean enough

Final step:

• Post-heat all areas to 185°F to activate the adhesive

• Inspect all pieces before installation
• All door skins include a 1/16" to 3/4" offset to prevent edge lifting
• Professional installation recommended if you’re not comfortable with heat-setting vinyl
