Once the design is finalized, each unit is loaded with a high-performance JL Audio subwoofer chosen specifically for that enclosure. The result is big, authoritative bass that stays musical, accurate, and distortion-free.

Every Stealthbox is crafted using rigid fiberglass construction to maximize internal volume and eliminate unwanted vibration or flex. JL Audio’s craftsmen laminate, grind, and finish each enclosure by hand—resulting in a beautiful, stealthy enclosure that disappears into your truck but transforms your sound.

Unmatched Factory Fitment

This Stealthbox installs behind the rear bench and features:

  • One shallow-mount 13.5" JL Audio 13TW5v2-4 subwoofer
  • 4-ohm total impedance
  • 600 watts RMS / 1200 watts peak power handling

If you’re chasing even bigger bass, two Stealthboxes can be installed behind the seat.

Notes on Fitment:

  • You’ll lose one “click” of rearward seat adjustment, and the seat must be slightly forward to fully recline.
  • If your Tundra has a factory JBL subwoofer, you will need to trim the factory panel or order a “no-subwoofer” panel from Toyota.
  • JL Audio rates this installation as moderate—DIY-friendly if you’re comfortable with car audio, though some vehicles may require minor modification.

Every Stealthbox is crafted in the USA from fiberglass or Advanced Molded Composite (AMC)—materials chosen for their incredible strength, rigidity, and ability to be molded into complex shapes. This allows JL Audio to:

Inside this Stealthbox is JL Audio’s incredible 13TW5v2 13.5” Thin-Line subwoofer housed in a sealed enclosure and wired for a 4-ohm mono load.

  • Mica-Filled Poly Cone & Santoprene Surround: Durable, rigid materials ensure clean bass response and long-lasting performance.
