Upgrade your 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra’s audio system the right way — with Trail Grid Pro’s center channel speaker solution built for plug-and-play perfection.

Installing the Center Channel Speaker
What you’ll need:

  • (1) Alpine 3" speaker
  • (1) Speaker mounting bracket
  • (4) #4 nuts and bolts (provided)
  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • 1/4" wrench
  • Speaker wire adapter labeled “Dash”

Step 1: Prepare the Speaker

  • Place the 3" speaker mounting bracket on top of the Alpine speaker as shown below.
  • The capacitor should face one of the mounting tabs on the bracket.
  • Insert each bolt up through the speaker’s mounting holes and the bracket, then secure them with the provided nuts.
  • Once all four are started, snug them down using a Phillips screwdriver and a 1/4" wrench.
    ⚠️ Do not over-tighten.

Step 2: Remove the Factory Center Dash Speaker

  • Use a panel removal tool to gently pry up the center speaker grille to release the retaining tabs.
  • Disconnect the factory speaker connector by pressing the release tab.
  • Remove the two factory 10mm bolts securing the original speaker and set them aside — you’ll reuse them.

Step 3: Install the New Alpine Center Speaker

  • Connect the speaker adapter harness to the factory speaker wire.
  • Place the new speaker assembly into the dash, aligning the mounting bracket with the factory bolt holes.
  • Secure the assembly using the two factory 10mm bolts.
    ⚠️ Do not over-tighten.
  • Reinstall the speaker grille by inserting the side closest to the windshield first, then pressing down to snap the retainers back into place.
