🛠️Tools Needed:
- Panel removal tool
- 10mm socket
- Ratchet wrench
- Phillips head screwdriver
Step 1: Remove Front Door Panel
- Pry off the door trim panel using a panel tool, pushing gently toward the front. Remove (2) phillips head screws.
- Remove the door handle trim using a panel tool. Remove (1) phillips head screw.
- Pry out the window switch, unplug connectors, and remove (1) phillips head screw.
- Use a panel tool to pop all retaining clips along the bottom edge of the door.
- Disconnect the door light.
- Lift the panel up and off the door.
- Disconnect remaining connectors, then remove door handle and lock cables.
Step 2: Replace Front Door Speakers
- Remove the four 10 mm bolts holding the factory speaker.
- Unplug the wiring harness.
- Mount the provided adapter bracket using the provided mounting screws.
- Connect the included front door wiring harness to the speaker and route it through the pass-through.
- Secure the speaker using the provided black phillips screws.
- Plug the adapter into the factory speaker plug.
Step 3: Reassemble Front Door Panel
- Reconnect all wiring, door handle, and lock cables (white cable on top), switches, and lights.
- Hook the panel into the window channel and press around the edges to snap clips back in.
- Reinstall all screws and trim pieces.
🔁 Repeat for the other front door.
Step 4: Remove Rear Door Panel
- Use a panel tool to remove the trim panel and (2) phillips head screws.
- Remove the door handle trim and (1) phillips head screw.
- Pry out the window switch, unplug, and set aside.
- Pop all retaining clips loose and lift the panel off.
- Disconnect the door light.
- Disconnect connectors and remove the door handle and lock cables.
Step 5: Replace Rear Door Speakers
- Remove the three 10 mm bolts holding the factory speaker.
- Disconnect the factory wiring harness.
- Mount the provided adapter bracket using the provided mounting screws.
- Use the included rear door wiring harness to connect the new speaker and route wiring properly.
- Secure speaker with provided black phillips head screws and connect adapter to factory plug.
Step 6: Reassemble Rear Door Panel
- Reconnect all connectors and cables (white door cable on top).
- Slide the top of the panel into the window channel.
- Press around the edges to snap in clips.
- Reinstall all screws and trim caps.
- Plug in the window switch and snap it and the handle trim back into place.
🔁 Repeat for the other rear door.
Step 7: Replace Dash Speakers
- Use a panel tool to pry up both dash speaker grilles and set them aside.
- Remove each factory speaker using a 10mm socket or open-ended wrench.
- Unplug the factory speaker connectors and remove the OEM speakers.
- Mount new speakers to the provided dash brackets using M4 bolts and nuts.
- Connect the speaker wiring adapter to the speaker.
- Connect the speaker wiring adapter to the factory speaker connection.
- Secure with factory screws and reinstall the grilles by pressing until they snap into place.
Step 8: Remove A-Pillar Trim (JBL-Equipped Only)
- Use a trim tool to remove the (2) plastic covers on the A-pillar panel.
- Remove the (2) 10 mm bolts.
- Gently pull the trim from the base to release the clips.
- If present, disconnect the airbag tether or clip.
⚠️ Caution: Tweeter wire harness is short—unplug before fully removing trim. - Set the panel aside safely.
Step 9: Replace A-Pillar Tweeters
- Locate and gently remove the OEM tweeter by pulling back on the securing tabs.
- Install the labeled A-Pillar 3D-printed tweeter mounts.
- Route wires through the mount and connect to the prewired crossover.
- Secure the assembly in the factory tweeter location.
⚠️ Important: Ensure the tweeter does not interfere with airbag curtain deployment. - Connect tweeter wires using the harness adapter and secure any excess wiring.
Step 10: Reinstall A-Pillar Trim
- Reconnect the airbag tether or clip.
- Align the trim and firmly press it back into place.
- Reinstall the (2) 10 mm bolts and snap in the plastic covers.
- Reinstall the side dash panel.
🔁 Repeat for the other side.
