📝Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Remove Dash Speakers
- Use a panel tool to remove the dash grille.
- Remove the two factory 10mm bolts securing the speaker.
- Disconnect the speaker by pressing the tab.
Step 2: Install Alpine 3" Dash Speakers
- Gather the Alpine 3" speakers, brackets, and supplied #4 nuts/bolts.
- Attach the bracket to the Alpine speaker.
- Connect the provided adapter harness to the factory connector.
- Place the speaker assembly in the dash, aligning the bracket with factory locations. (See photo below).

- Secure using the two factory 10mm bolts
- ⚠️ Do not overtighten!
- Reinstall the speaker grille by pressing it back into place.
- Repeat for the other dash speaker.
Step 3: Remove Front Door Panels
- Remove two Phillips screws:
- One behind the door handle (cover removed with a panel tool)
- One inside the grab handle.
- Remove the push clip near the door hinge.
- Remove the triangular trim near the mirror by pulling straight out.
- Release the clips along the panel edge starting at the bottom.
- Lift the panel up and off the window channel.
- Disconnect the cables and wire harnesses
- Door lock, Window switch, Door light
Step 4: Remove Tweeters & Front Door Speakers
For 8 & 10 Speaker Bundles Only:
- Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently release the tabs securing the tweeter in the sail panel.
- Carefully remove the tweeter from the mount.
For All Bundles:
- Disconnect the harness from the factory front door speaker.
- Remove the four screws/bolts securing the speaker.
- Remove the speaker from the door.
Step 5: Install Tweeters & Front Door Speakers
Tweeters (8 & 10 Speaker Kits Only):
- Select the tweeters with the Alpine logo on the back.
- Remove the black grille cover by twisting counterclockwise; discard the cover.
- Align the speaker wires with the opening in the sail panel tweeter mount.
- Insert the tweeter straight into the mount and press firmly until the tabs lock securely around the back.
- Connect the provided adapter harness to the factory connector.
Tip: Since extra cable length is provided, you can rest the sail panel on the dash until the door panel is reinstalled.

Front Door Speakers:
- Install the speaker adapter ring using the provided bolts.
- Connect the harness to the speaker—match the 1/8" and 1/4" spade connectors to the correct terminals. They should fit snugly.
- Route the speaker wire through the spacer, then set the speaker into the spacer.
- Align the wiring with the channel in the adapter ring to avoid pinching.
- Secure the speaker to the adapter ring with the supplied Phillips screws.
⚠️ Do not overtighten. Protect the speaker while tightening to avoid damage.
Step 6: Reinstall Front Door Panels
- Reconnect all cables and harnesses (white cable on top, green on bottom).
- Hang the panel on the window channel and press clips into place.
- Reinstall the screws: large in the grab handle, small behind the door handle.
- Replace trim panels and the push clip.
Step 7: Remove Rear Door Panels
- Remove two Phillips screws (one behind door handle, one inside grab handle).
- Release panel clips starting at the bottom.
- Lift panel up and off the window channel.
- Disconnect cables and harnesses.
Step 8: Remove Tweeters & Factory Speakers (8 & 10 Speaker Kits Only
For 8 & 10 Speaker Bundles Only:
- Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently release the tabs securing the tweeter in the rear door panel.
- Remove the tweeter from the mount.
For All Bundles:
- Disconnect the harness from the factory 6.5" speaker.
- Remove the three screws/bolts securing the speaker.
- Remove the speaker from the door.
Step 9: Install Rear Tweeters & 6.5" Speakers (10 Speaker Kits Only)
Tweeters (10 Speaker Bundles Only):
- Remove the black and silver grille cover by twisting counterclockwise; discard the cover.
- Align the tweeter wires with the opening in the rear door panel mount.
- Insert the tweeter straight into the mount and press until the tabs lock securely around the back.
- Connect the adapter harness to the factory connector.

Rear Door Speakers:
- Install the provided 6.5" speaker adapter ring using the supplied bolts.
- Connect the harness to the speaker—match the 1/8" and 1/4" spade connectors to the correct terminals.
- Route the speaker wire through the spacer, then position the speaker into the spacer.
- Align the wiring with the channel in the adapter ring to avoid pinching.
- Secure the speaker to the adapter ring with the supplied Phillips screws.
Pro Tip: Take your time and protect the speaker while tightening the screws.
Step 10: Reinstall Rear Door Panels
- Reconnect all harnesses and cables
- White cable → top
- Green cable → bottom
- Hang panel on window channel, ensuring it seats properly.
- Press around the edges to snap all clips back into place.
- Reinstall the two screws:
- Large screw → behind the armrest
- Small screw → behind the door handle
Step 11: Test Functionality
- Power on your radio.
- Confirm all speakers are functioning.
- Enjoy your new Alpine Plug & Play audio upgrade!
