Step 1
Replacing the dash speakers:

Remove the dash speaker:
- Using a panel removal tool, pry up on the speaker grille.
- Using a 10 mm socket or wrench remove the two bolts that secure the factory speaker.
- Depress the tab and remove the speaker connector.
- Use a small flat head screwdriver to release the connector from the bracket.
Repeat the process for the other dash speaker.

Assembling the dash speaker:
- In the box you will find the provided 3 inch Trail Grid Pro adapter. Place the tweeter adapter on top of the tweeter, lining up the four pre-drilled holes.
- Use the provided phillips head bolts and nuts to secure the tweeter to the adapter.
- Place the bolt down through the hole from the bottom and secure the nut to the top.
- Attach the provided speaker wiring adapter to the tweeter by connecting the 1/8th inch and 1/4-inch spade connectors.

Installing the dash speaker:
- Connect the speaker wiring harness to the factory wiring.
- Align the bracket and line up the holes in the bracket with the factory mounting locations.
- Secure the speaker assembly to the dash using the two factory 10 mm bolts.
- Replace the speaker grille cover.
Repeat the process for the other dash speaker
Step 2
Replace the A-pillar speaker (JBL Only):

Remove the A-Pillar trim:
- To remove the grab handles you must open the one cover on drivers’ side two covers on the passenger side. Use your panel removal tool to pry open the covers to reveal the 10 mm bolts.
- Remove the 10 mm bolts securing the A-Pillar trim to the vehicle.
- Pull A-Pillar towards the center of vehicle to release the clips.
- Be cautious to not pull too hard, as the tweeter wires connected to the tweeter are extremely short. It's helpful to unplug tweeter before completely removing A-Pillar.
Repeat the process for the other A-Pillar

Removing factory tweeter:
- Locate the factory tweeter inside the A Pillar mounted with three plastic loop tabs.
- Remove the tweeter by gently pushing out on the tabs securing the tweeter in place.
- Remove the tweeter.

Installing the Alpine tweeters:
- Install the Alpine tweeters with the mounts. There is only 1 way to install the mounts, they will secure to the factory tabs.
- Connect the tweeter wires from the crossover to the tweeter, Male to Female, making sure that the wires lock into to each other and rubber covers are over the connections.
- Plug pre-terminated harness into the factory plug and secure any additional wiring with a zip tie.
- Slide crossover into empty area next to dash.

Reinstall A-Pillar Trim:
- Line up A-Pillar trim on both at the bottom and at the top.
- Push in gently, you should hear a slight click, locking the A-Pillar into position to the vehicle.
- Replace either one or two 10 mm bolts into the A-Pillar, replace plastic trim covers.
Step 3
Replace the front door speakers:

Remove the front door panel:
- Remove the plastic trim panel from near the mirror by pulling it out with your fingers.
- Remove the cover panel behind the door handle by prying out the cover with a panel tool.
- Remove the plastic trim below the arm rest, by sliding it towards the front of the door, remove one phillips screw.
- Remove the window switch panel, by gently prying up with a panel tool, unplug any harnesses, there will be one phillips head bolt.
- Remove the three phillips head bolts using a screwdriver.
- Remove the door panel by grabbing the bottom of the panel and pull back with your fingers.
- Lift the door panel up and off the window ledge.
- Disconnect the door latch and locking wire by removing the connector from the hold, swivel the ball up and out of the mechanism.
- Depress and remove the connections for the courtesy light.
- If any of the retaining clips for the door panel stayed in the door, now is the time to remove them using a panel removal tool and insert them back into the door panel.

Removing the factory speaker in the front door:
- Depress the tab and remove the factory wiring connector.
- Using a phillips head screwdriver or 10 mm socket, remove the four bolts that secure the factory speaker to the door panel.

Installing your new Alpine door speaker:
- For this step you will need the included Trail Grid Pro speaker bracket and the provided 3/8-inch silver screws and the black phillips head screws.
- Attach the Trail Grid Pro 6x9 speaker adapter to the door panel with the provided 3/8-inch bolts.
- Connect the included speaker wire harness to the speaker by attaching the 1/8th inch and 1/4-inch spade connectors.
- Route the speaker wires through the channel in the speaker bracket and place the speaker into the opening.
- Connect the speaker wire harness to the factory speaker connector.
- Line up the speaker and use the provided black phillips head screws to secure the speaker to the mounting bracket.
Take care that you do not puncture or damage the speaker while securing the screws. Damage during installation is not covered under the manufacturer warranty.

Replace the front door panel:
- Connect the courtesy light, door lock wire and door handle wire.
- Hang the door on the window ledge and push it down into place.
- Once the door panel is lined up, push in to secure the retaining clips.

Secure the three phillips head screws:
- Located behind the door handle
- Window switch opening
- Below the door arm rest
- Replace the cover plate behind the door handle.
- Replace the trim piece near the mirror.
Step 4
Replace the rear door speaker:

Remove the rear door panel:
- Remove the cover panel behind the door handle by prying out the cover with a panel tool.
- Remove the plastic trim below the arm rest, by sliding it towards the front of the door, remove the one phillips screw.

Remove the factory rear door speaker:
- Depress the tab and remove the factory wiring connector.
- Using a phillips head screwdriver or 10 mm socket, remove the three bolts that secure the factory speaker to the door panel.

Remove the factory rear door tweeter (JBL Only):
- Locate the factory tweeter inside the rear door mounted with three loops.
- Remove the tweeter by gently pushing out on the tabs securing the tweeter in place.
- Remove the tweeter.
- Install the Alpine tweeters with the mounts (JBL Only):
- There is only 1 way to install the mounts, they will secure to the factory tabs.
- Connect the tweeter wires from the crossover to the tweeter, Male to Female, making sure that the wires lock into to each other.
- Plug pre-terminated harness into the factory plug and secure any additional wiring with a wire tie.
- Slide crossover into empty area of door and wire tie to secure.

Installing your new Alpine rear door speaker:
- For this step you will need the included Trail Grid Pro 6.5-inch speaker bracket and the provided 3/8-inch silver screws and the black phillips head screws.
- Attach the Trail Grid Pro 6.5-inch speaker adapter to the door panel with the provided 3/8-inch bolts.
- Connect the included speaker wire harness to the speaker.
- Route the speaker wires through one of the channels in the speaker bracket and place the speaker into the opening.
- Connect the speaker wire harness to the factory speaker connector by attaching the 1/8th inch and 1/4-inch spade connectors.
- Line up the speaker and use the provided black phillips head screws to secure the speaker to the mounting bracket.
Take care that you do not puncture or damage the speaker while securing the screws. Damage during installation is not covered under the manufacturer warranty.
Repeat the process for the other side.

Replace the rear door panel:
- Connect the courtesy light, door lock wire and door handle wire.
- Hang the door on the window ledge and push down into place.
- Once the door panel is lines up, push in to secure the retaining clips.

Secure the three phillips head screws:
- Located behind the door handle
- At the top on the grab handle
- At the bottom of the grab handle.
- Replace the cover plate behind the door handle.
Step 5
Replace the rear hatch speaker:

Remove the rear hatch cover:
- Remove the power lift gate switch (if equipped) as well as trim around latch.
- Remove the hatch cover by releasing the retaining clips around the edge by pulling with your fingers.
- Lift the cover up and off the window ledge.
- If any of the retaining clips for the door panel stayed in the door, now is the time to remove them using a panel removal tool and insert them back into the door panel.

Remove the factory hatch 3-inch speaker:
- Depress the tab and remove the factory wiring connector.
- Using a phillips head screwdriver or 10 mm socket, remove the three bolts that secure the factory 3-inch speaker to the door panel.

Installing your new Alpine rear hatch speaker:
- For this step you will need the included Trail Grid Pro 3-inch speaker bracket and the factory bolts.
- In the box you will find the provided 3-inch Trail Grid Pro adapter. Place the adapter on top of the tweeter, lining up the four pre-drilled holes.
- Use the provided phillips head bolts and nuts to secure the tweeter to the adapter.
- Place the bolt down through the hole from the top and secure the nut on the bottom.
- Attach the provided speaker wiring adapter to the tweeter by connecting the 1/8th inch and 1/4-inch spade connectors.
- Connect the included speaker wire harness to the speaker.
- Take care that you do not puncture or damage the speaker while securing the screws. Be careful not to drop nuts or bolts into the speaker.
Repeat the process for the other hatch speaker.

Replace the rear hatch cover:
- Hang the hatch cover over the window ledge.
- Line up the retaining tabs and push them into place. Push around the edge and in the middle of the panel.
- Replace the power lift gate switch and latch cover.
Step 6
Test your new Alpine 10 Speaker Bundle.
Pro Tip: These are new speakers, and they operate the best following a break in. Go easy on them and break them in easy.
