Ready for your 4Runner
Sony has always been a great option for those seeking to upgrade the stereo in their 4Runner, but this XAV-AX7000 digital multimedia receiver takes the cake when it comes to built-in power. With 100 W x 4 (45 watts RMS per channel) and 5-volt preamp outputs, this receivers Class-D amplifier gives you the ability to start building a serious system. With onboard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, you can easily access your media with intuitive icons on a 6.95″ anti-glare capacitive touchscreen or by using voice control.
While any 2010 – 2019 Toyota 4Runner owner can benefit from this system, we see the largest percentage of purchasers from the non-JBL amplified system owners. This high-powered system rivals the thumping ability of many external amplifiers, but if you already have a JBL amplified system, or added an aftermarket external amplifier in your rig then that’s where the power is going to continue to come from. So, it may not make sense for you to pay for the extra power in the Sony XAV-AX7000. Instead, you can go with our Sony XAV-AX5500 Plug & Play bundle.
However, if an anti-glare screen is make-or-break to you (which I’d highly consider if you have a sunroof) … then this is the system for you regardless of your current set-up.

- SiriusXM SXV300V1 and idatalink STO2/ST01 (when applicable). Factory satellite antenna signal retained for all 2014 – 2019 4Runners.
